Overview. This Online Services Privacy Policy (“OSP Policy”) describes the information collected by or on behalf of ALCOVA Mortgage, LLC (“ALCOVA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) when you interact with us online – through our website, mobile application, or other internet-based services operated by us or non-affiliated third parties (collectively, “Online Services”) and how such information is used, protected, and shared.
If you are or become an applicant or consumer, we may collect information not addressed in this OSP Policy and you will receive ALCOVA’s consumer privacy policy in accordance with the Gramm Leach Bliley Act.
By accessing or using our Online Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this OSP Policy. Online Services covered by this OSP Policy are only intended for a U.S. audience that has reached the applicable age of majority. ALCOVA’s Online Services are not directed to children of any age & we do not knowingly collect any information from minors. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information through our Online Services, we will take reasonable steps toward deleting such information.
Information We Collect. We, or others on our behalf, may collect data about you or your household when you use our Online Services. Some of that data may be non-public personal information (“NPI”).
Automated Collection
Some of the data we obtain about you comes from standard tracking tools.
Device and Usage Information. Like most web-based platforms, our Online Services collect standard technical data such internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, internet service providers, the pages and content you view or interact with through our Online Service, the information you search for, and the dates and times that you visit.
Cookies and Other Technologies. Our Online Services collect certain information using “cookies” and other technologies. Cookies are small files that your browser places on your computer. We may use session cookies, persistent cookies, and other tracking technologies to better understand how you interact with our Online Services, to monitor usage by our users and web traffic routing on our services, and to improve and personalize our Online Services. Many internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You may be able to instruct your browser to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies from the websites you visit. Google provides some additional privacy options relating to Google analytics, described at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners. We do not respond to “do not track” browser signals at this time.
We may also use web beacons, which are transparent graphic images on a webpage or within the body of one of our marketing emails, to allow us to measure visitor actions and assess the effectiveness of our email marketing campaigns. For example, we use web beacons in our email marketing to track instances where a user clicks through a link in the email.

Much of the NPI we receive via Online Services is provided to us directly by you.
Contact Forms and Applications. These submissions always contain personal information. Some of the categories included may be your name, address, contact data, social security number, government ID number, assets, and income history. If you provide information related to other person(s) through our Online Services, you represent that you have authority to disclose this information to us and grant us permission to use the information in accordance with this OSP Policy.
Provided by Others
We may collect information from third parties you direct or authorize to share information with us, such as financial institutions, consumer reporting agencies, or other industry professionals. We might also obtain publicly available data – about your home value for example.
Use, Protection, Sharing. ALCOVA takes privacy very seriously. We restrict NPI access to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. Commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations are also maintained to protect your NPI.
Your data will not be shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. However, like all financial companies, we work with third parties to run our business. They enable us to process your application or transaction; host and maintain our Online Service; assist with our advertising and marketing; and facilitate other services for us. These third parties may have access to or process your data as part of providing those services for us. Generally, we limit the information given to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and we require them to agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information. These service providers are not permitted to use information we share that might identify you for any purpose other than to provide services to ALCOVA or to you on our behalf. We do not otherwise share your NPI except at your direction or to respond to court orders or legal proceedings.
Exceptions. This OSP Policy does not apply to every internet-based interaction between you and ALCOVA.
Social Media & Reviews
ALCOVA uses platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube (collectively, “Social Media”) to engage with the public. If you elect to participate in Social Media, your interactions will be governed by the privacy policies of the providers that own and operate those websites, which we encourage you to review. We may share, pin, highlight, or re-post any comments or content that you make on our Social Media pages or in which you tag us.
You should refrain from including anything in your Social Media photos, comments, etc. that you do not want to be public information. Content you post on Social Media is not confidential nor covered by this OSP Policy. However, if we notice a Social Media interaction of your that may pose a privacy or security risk to you or ALCOVA, we will attempt to remove it.
The above equally applies should you choose to rate/review ALCOVA or its representatives on platforms such as experience.com, Google, or industry websites (e.g., Zillow).
Third-Party Sites
Some of our Online Services may connect you to non-lending real estate services or other third parties. While we use good faith efforts to select these parties prudently, we are not responsible for the privacy, security, or contents of sites that are not controlled by us. This includes their accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability. When you access or use these third-party sites, you are subject to the privacy policies of the providers that own and operate those websites, which we encourage you to review.
Policy Changes. We may modify our OSP Policy at any time. When we make updates, we will let you know by appropriate means, such as by posting the amended OSP Policy on this page with a new “Last Revised” date. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
