Raymond York

Veteran Raymond York joined the United States Marines Corps in the summer of 1995, only two days after graduating high school. At 18 years old, he arrived at his first active-duty station in Okinawa, Japan as a Private 1st Class in January 1996. Here he would be promoted to Lance Corporal and meritoriously to Corporal before moving to his next duty station in Cherry Point, NC. During his time in Cherry Point, Raymond was promoted to Sergeant and spent the next four years in this role. Raymond took a short break from active-duty and worked with the Lake County Corrections before re-enlisting to serve as a Platoon Sergeant at Camp Lejeune, NC. Sergeant York has received several awards for his service including the Navy Achievement Medal, Certificate of Commendation, Meritorious Masts, and Letters of Appreciation for humanitarian duties in the Philippines and successful training missions in Norway.

After leaving the military in 2005, Raymond began working as a maintenance technician in Lake Mary. The same year, he founded his residential property maintenance company, Sgt. York’s Property Maintenance, which is still in business today—and stronger than ever! In 2009, Raymond received his real estate license and in 2020 his real estate broker’s license. He opened Sgt. York’s Real Estate Services in 2020 and Sgt. York’s Property Management in 2024. Today, Raymond spends a large portion of his time performing duties as the Broker of Record for both companies.

Outside of real estate, Raymond spends his time as a contracted nuisance alligator trapper for the State of Florida, working with firearms, marksmanship, and responsible concealed carry practices. He is a life member of the NRA and a member of the United States Concealed Carry Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
