After 34 years in the mortgage industry, including 26 years earning President's Club recognition, what still excites me is finding a way forward when a deal is not straightforward. As a loan officer with ALCOVA Mortgage based in Chantilly, VA, I built a reputation as a bit of a bulldog. Whether that means digging until I find a way for a buyer who has been told no elsewhere or fighting for a file mid-process that needs someone pushing back to get it to closing, I don't stop until we find a path.

I work with first-time homebuyers, self-employed borrowers, veterans, second-home buyers, investors, and anyone downsizing or upsizing. Northern Virginia is home base, including Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and surrounding areas, and I also lend across Virginia, Maryland, DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and West Virginia. Our team is also licensed in Tennessee.

My loan programs include conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, non-QM, bank statement, and DSCR, with in-house underwriting for faster decisions.

Helping someone go from “I don't think I can qualify,” “I don't understand this process,” or “OMG, this isn't going to work” to holding the keys to their home is why I do this.

Relaxing on the beach in the OBX, boating in the Currituck Sound in NC and on Highland Lake in NH, going on RV trips, tailgating at UVA games with lifelong friends from my high school job at Friendly's, and snowmobiling on the wide trails around ME and NH.

Three weeks cruising and touring in Italy, France, and Spain with my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary. Rome was the favorite stop. Next up: a cruise to St. Thomas and St. John, then revisiting our honeymoon stop, Hawaii, this time with the kids.
