David Harris
David Harris has been the Navy for 10 years and has been on two deployments. He also was a fire fighter for the City of Covington Fire Department for a year and a half. He left the fire department so he could have more time for his 6 year old son who he coaches in football, baskeball, and baseball. He still works for the military on a monthly basis.
His nomination entry said “He is very passionate about his position in the military and is as loyal at they come. He is an all around great person. He lost his father two years ago suddenly and then this year on the same exact day, he lost his mother suddenly as well. Through his struggles he has remained strong and is an excellent example of what a true hard working American is.”
