David Harris

David Harris has proudly served in the Navy for 10 years, completing two deployments and demonstrating his strong commitment to his country. Throughout his military career, he has consistently proven himself as a reliable and passionate service member. Alongside his military duties, David worked as a firefighter for the City of Covington Fire Department for a year and a half. However, he made the decision to leave the department to spend more time with his 6-year-old son.

Now, David focuses on coaching his son in football, basketball, and baseball, ensuring he plays an active role in his son’s life. This shift allowed him to balance his love for his country with his devotion to his family.

Though David left the fire department, his commitment to his military service remains strong. He continues to support the military by working on a monthly basis, fulfilling his duties with unwavering dedication. His loyalty to his role in the military further exemplifies his devotion to service.

In recent years, David Harris faced tremendous personal loss. Two years ago, he tragically lost his father, and on the same exact day the following year, he lost his mother. Despite enduring such heartbreaking events, David has shown incredible resilience and strength. He continues to push through adversity with grace and remains focused on what truly matters. His ability to overcome these personal struggles while maintaining his duties and responsibilities makes him a true example of what it means to be a hardworking American.
